University of Lynchburg Women's Lacrosse Celebrates Senior Day Against Randolph
The University of Lynchburg Women’s Lacrosse team is currently running with a .667 winning percentage and enjoying 6 wins with only 3 losses throughout their 2025 season so far. As the team continues to grow and move through their season, they are also beginning to prepare their celebration game in honor of their seniors and all their contributions throughout their career playing with the Lynchburg Women’s Lacrosse team in a game against Randolph on March 29, 2025. The team will be honoring their four seniors: Carson Quigley, Reagan Bradley, Meredith Bornholdt, and Jenna Norko.
Each of the four seniors were drawn to the University of Lynchburg for its academic reputation, beautiful campus, and welcoming women’s lacrosse team. Meredith Bornholdt agreed along with the rest of the seniors when she said one of her favorite moments with lacrosse was “our trip to Florida for this spring break. It was an amazing trip and we all created so many fun memories together”. Jenna Norko also noted the spring break trip as a favorite memory, and commented that the team was special in their own way, and that by learning to work together to accomplish the same goal, the team has been able to fully utilize their special talents and abilities throughout their season so far.
As the seniors continue to play their hardest during their last season, they've had the chance to think about the impact they've had, with Reagan Bradley giving the advice of “cherish every single moment—every practice, every game, every bus ride, and every single second together. Give everything you have to the game because one day, you’ll step off the field for the last time, and you’ll wish you could do it all over again.” As the current seniors of the team play their last season, they have helped to prepare the younger players of the team to be the next leaders and continue to help the team grow to do their best and give their all in everything they do on and off the field.
